Mineral Springs is home of Brookland Wood, the rolling, and prestigious Charlotte Steeplechase track. Over 20,000 visitors are attracted to the Queenss Cup each April for the weekends' event. In addition to boarding and training facilities, Mineral Springs has privately maintained horse trails that residents enjoy sharing.
Don't forget to visit Cane Creek Park, a 1,050-acre county-owned park featuring a 350-acre trophy bass lake, a beach and swimming area, rental boats and canoes, miniature golf, 8 miles of trails, campsites and rental cabins.
